Alex’s journey with baking started when he was 6 years old, and since then, his passion has grown with him throughout his experiences in the food and beverage industry. He trained at L’Espalier as a pastry cook and received an A.S. in Baking & Pastry Arts and a B.S. Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. He currently works in the tea industry and is regarded as one of the most talented and up-and-coming tea professionals in the industry. He has also published two baking books featuring some of his favorite vegan and gluten-free recipes. Most days, you'll find him in the kitchen with a cup of tea in hand, testing new recipes.

Alex is passionate about sharing his experiences with young folks who have budding interests in baking and spend some time together with a cup of tea.
